You will spot these pink flamingos congregating by the salt flats on the southern side of the road. The island is a safe zone for these majestic creatures and they can be spotted in varying numbers from a dozen to even hundreds at a time.

An 1800-hectare preserve that has two driving routes and eight hiking trails. A must-see for nature lovers, the summit of Christoffel Mountain takes about a two to three-hour hike. Once you reach the top, you will be glad that you went. You will get an unhindered and breathtaking perspective of almost the entire island.
